Project Description

Geodesic is constructing the single-span steel railway bridge over the Milan Subway in Mumbai. The construction of the 160 meter long steel girder bridge that connects the flyover above the railway tracks between Santa Cruz and Vile Parle has already begun. The project is an engineering marvel as it is the longest single span steel girder bridge over railway tracks in Mumbai, crossing all the seven railway tracks including two future tracks. This 700m flyover, which connects S.V Road to the Western Express Highway (WEH) service road, will ease traffic movement around the station, providing much needed relief throughout the year, especially during the difficult monsoon season.
