Pre-Engineered Buildings came into existence
in the 50s and '60s in the US to represent standardized,
'off-the-shelf' low-rise industrial building
designs, popular due to their economy and speed
of construction.
These structures have evolved from more traditional
'iron truss' and 'brick and mortar' approach
to construction'.
Currently only details and components are pre-engineered
with the final forms and architecture being
completely unique and customized. |
